Stone Watercolor Paint — Ultramarine Blue
A beautifully concentrated warm blue made for our Stone line. Ultramarine Blue is one half of our balanced blue pair and mixes with Phthalo Blue to create a clear, vibrant True Blue. Teachers often use Ultramarine Blue as the primary classroom blue because it creates luminous washes and mixes clean, lively greens with Lemon Yellow.

Concentrated Formula
Stone Watercolor Paint is extremely concentrated.
We recommend diluting 10 parts water to 1 part paint for general painting.
For veil painting, use more water and allow layers to dry between washes.
For richer, more vibrant color, use less water.
Color Mixing
Ultramarine Blue + Phthalo Blue = True Blue — a wonderful exercise in exploring warm and cool blues.
