Our Stone Painting Boards are crafted from high‑quality Baltic birch and finished to a super‑smooth surface. When watercolor paper is soaked and placed on the board, it gently suctions to the wood—creating a perfectly flat surface for painting. You can also let the paper dry on the board for a beautifully smooth, wrinkle‑free finish.
Each board is made locally in Wisconsin to our specifications and stamped with the Paper Scissors Stone logo on the back. They work wonderfully as a lap desk and pair well with all sizes of watercolor paper used in Waldorf classrooms.
